Orientation toward uncommitted sex. Measured with Penke and Asendorpf's revised inventory.
SOI-R separates behavior, attitude, and desire. It is one of the few psychometrics in this atlas with a stable instrument. Hormonal and income correlates exist; they are not destiny and they are sex-differentiated in most samples.
Also called SOI, unrestricted mating.
